Do you have your tickets yet?
The 4th annual OC Beer Festival returns May 5th to Irvine Lake for another day filled with unlimited beer from dozens of international and local craft breweries, some of LA and OC’s most popular food trucks, and, of course, some crazy cover band music. This will be my 3rd time attending, and I am super excited to visit some of my favorite brew tents: Karl Strauss, Noble Ale Works, Cismontane, and Bootlegger’s… just to name a few. One of the best things about the OC Beer Festival is that it gives you the opportunity to try a variety of different beers from a ton of breweries, all in one convenient place. Plus, the Festival’s proceeds benefit Noah’s B-ark Inc., whose aim is to rescue dogs from shelters and find permanent homes for rescued pets.
Admission is $40 for general admission and $50 for VIP, which gives you an added hour of admission, and both include unlimited pours as well as live entertainment. Tickets will not be sold at the door, but you can still buy them online at http://www.orangecountybeerfest.com/. If you do plan on attending, I would recommend enlisting a DD or taking a cab. The venue is out of the way (and not super organized in years past) and the road out is heavily monitored by police. While a cab will likely be pricey depending on where you’re coming from, driving is not worth the risk.
Hope to see you all there!
